West Phoenix Hotels For Business Travel and Savings |
Phoenix, Arizona is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and is already the fifth-largest by population. Its continued urban and suburban sprawl has made Phoenix and its surrounding suburbs one of the vastest cityscapes. Western Phoenix was originally defined as the Maryvale area, but in the past fifteen years, more construction has take the bounds of the town further west, and now Avondale is considered the thriving western edge of Phoenix. Finding West Phoenix hotels in Avondale is a good alternative to more expensive rooming near the heart of the city.
Avondale is home to the Phoenix International Raceway and is a major hub for NASCAR events twice yearly. The suburb features a number of popular outdoor malls and a host of popular chain dining and retail, as well as a few local gems. Finding a hotel in the city depends on the need of the visitor and the nature of his or her stay.
The Hilton Garden Inn offers rooms at affordable rates and immediate access to I-10 for quick travel throughout the city. The hotel is well-kept, and nearby amenities make it a comfortable place to stay while on business in Phoenix. Another alternative, slightly further west, is the Courtyard Hotel by Marriot located off of West McDowell Road.
The Courtyard offers standard hotel fair at inexpensive rates. Their continental breakfast features a reasonable selection and guests review it well for its cleanliness and easy access to major thoroughfares. This hotel, like the Hilton Garden Inn, is primarily targeted toward business clientele, and as such, is wired for Internet access with public workstations available as well.
West Phoenix does not carry as much of the desert flair that the heart of the town is known for. At the same time, the west side is less expensive while still offering quick travel around the city. With plenty of recognizable dining locations and fewer bustling streets, West Phoenix is ideal for business travelers. It is also a quiet alternative for those who want to enjoy the downtown without its noise.
